What if it Snows?

Oregon isn't bad except for Portland. The rest of the state is full of mostly normal folks like you'd find anywhere else. Where are these high fuel prices that you speak of? I filled up there this morning for $1.72 per gallon, compared to $3.39 in CA. I woke up to sprinkles in Eugene this morning and that's all there was all the way to the CA border. It's been a pretty dry year up there. You must be home sick for the blizzard they're having in Montana.

 

Well transmission update. I have a new to me one put in. $1850 plus 2450 for putting it in, then $300 upfront test drive and brake chamber. Then $300 car rental and $280 for the hotel with a side of leopard printed heroin. Then lost revenue. Friday and weekend. So it's like a 6500 reversal of fortune. The mechanics kept doing road calls so the transmission took a long time.

I really wanted two months of money uninterrupted. Then buy a home and maybe order a new truck.

So the transmission is pretty good. It does 9 and 10 with out problems. I haven't done it loaded yet.

Now the truck loses prime completely. I changed out injector 2 high pressure line. Thinking it might be that. I put lucas heavy grease on the threads and put it back on. If it is that line, the grease should keep vacuum until the disiel gets thru it. If you prime the truck it runs fine and pulls well. Smh.

I used to turn off the truck and thirty seconds later a valve would release with a the sound of air escaping. Now it's gone, I wonder if that is the prime problem.
