Honestly, I'm a simple man.....which is just another way of saying that I'm lazy. Seems like too much trouble for me.

Get the china bunk heater. Then get two flexible solar panels and glue to the roof. Bunk heater under $200. Solar system $400. Good to go.

In all seriousness I have an Espar, it's nice to have. For less than $200 and a carbon monoxide alarm, it's hard to lose.

I half kid about solar panels. But you would never need a jump start. Your china Espar couldn't kill the batteries and stop you from starting after sun rise.

I'm getting ready to yank my Webasto and do a complete rebuild. The thing hasn't run in a hundred years and from what little I've tried to inspect, it's going to be gunked up pretty good.

I have one, it's fits inside the three door vault. Predator 2000. I have two gas cans 4 gallons total. I use it in the summer to run a stand up AC. Unfortunately I have that out of my truck right now. I have used it to run the block heater. In the winter I usually wake up in the middle of the night and run the truck for 20 minutes back to sleep. But when I come to a parked truck I use the generator to get water temp to 80 or 90. Oh I chain it down using a 6300 WLL chain and an expensive lock. Usually to the landing gear so other truckers don't smell the exhaust.

Dont forget. There are flexable solar panels that will conform to the curves of the truck. So they could be stuck to the aerodynamic curve above the sleeper.

How do you evaluate the quality of these panels now that everyone and their mother has become a manufacturer?

So I removed the injectors on the tractor. This way I could spin the engine over with out damaging the starter. #2 is belching fuel,#3 is letting some, and #1 is a dribble. The battery is in recharge now. Maybe tomorrow I will work on it while my truck gets a new oil pan.

Not sure about a first start vid. Yet the tractor is always claggy when it starts. So one of those will probably happen if anything.
