    The pilot in Cheyenne is a total fuster cluck... Guys getting stuck because they dont know how to manuever on packed snow and ice... Then they sit there and rev the engine to the moon and just spin, and spin... And spin some more.

    And of course impatient fools coming and going... Or trying to come and go, just making a nearly impossible log jam of trucks.

    I was here almost 2 hours before they closed the road... I got a heads up from another driver that traffic was at a crawl out infront of me. So I stopped to wait until traffic started moving again... WYDOT closed the road before that happened.

    It's like the log jam when they open the highway. Unless you're warmed up and one of the first out of the gate, no point in going anywhere for a few hours.

    Same as when the closure is imminent, get a good spot early, then don't worry about the icecapades. Last year the people at The TA were so hard, they called a wrecker on the people parked blocking the cars gas pumps.

    I was thinking," Where are they supposed to go?"

    I've gotten pretty good at spotting the imminent closures here in WY. The last 2 or 3 times ive been stuck in WY, for more than a few hours, I saw it coming and got parked in a premo spot before the games kicked off.
