I lived just down the road from there when I was in high school, actually worked at a plant nursery in my senior year. I remember applying to work the docks at bonus transport to try and get my foot in the door. There’s a ton of foliage that comes out of the sorrento area, enjoy the ride....

There is a free truckers GPS app called Hammer. It seems to work pretty good.

I’ll recommend It to him and see what happens. I used truck map on my phone when they sent us our route to see how It worked and It was pretty close to the route they wanted us to take

I actually use Google Maps as navigation but only a little. I don't have a GPS in the windshield. I trip plan using my atlas and Google. I stay on the numbered highways. Google maps over simplifies routes. I still think it works because it constantly updates. Traffic mode and satellite mode is my friend lol.

I plan on using It but just to look at shippers for entrances and stuff like that. On both of the Home Depot runs that’s I’ve been on we’ve ended up on streets that we definitely shouldn’t have been on. In neighborhoods and stuff like that and I just feel like It could be avoided but idk

Made our two stops in Miami today, been sitting since then. My trainer goes on hometime tomorrow so we’ll be heading back to the yard at some point then I’m hoping they have another trainer for me to hop on with or else I’ll have to go to the house which will prolong my training process. Only have a week a couple days left so I’m hoping that’s not the case

Dropped a trailer yesterday and hooked up to another loaded with plants, brought It back to the yard now I’m at the house. They’re trying to find me a trainer that doesn’t smoke but I might tell them I don’t care to just get me one. Only have a week left I think I can put It up with It

Guess I’ll be at the house until Tuesday or Wednesday unfortunately. Guess their only trainers that don’t have a trainee are on home time

Enjoy your hometime...How long of a drive from your house to the yard?
