I shot a video heres the link. Im pretty sure i need to replace the batteries being its dropping to 12.6 and charging really fast to 13.6+ idk if the battery being weak would cause the apu to smoke or not, but when it was running it ran for a long time then it would shut off then run again within 5 mins.

Is it still getting hot .? I bet it was that belt onthe right side that created frictionand started smoking. That belt should be nice and tight and not flopping around.. That belt turns the water pump and if its not tight then the water pump wont work correctly and engine will over heat

That belt needs to be replaced for sure, but the unit should shut itself down before anything catastrophic happens. The unit looks like it needs a good thorough go over. A little love and respect.
I think someone fired up a giant doobie next to him and he's blaming the APU. All systems looked go to me.

No one was near me, I was making a delivery on a sunday and was literally the only one there when it happened.
It does look pretty rough, I just got the oil kit so i can change the oil now im going to order new belts. Do you have any advice on what I should replace next?

    D.Tibbitt and sealevel Thank this.
