Reliable carriers

It’s not a stacker. They haul antique coaches trucks and other large priceless vehicles in those.. they use to run a bunch of hard sides for those and they still have quite a few but they are a pain in the ### to get in and out

 

They also have a couple of 4 car trailers I have seen, orange and all, I am guessing local drops?

 

Yep. They have the luxury of having an unusual amount of customers who’ll pay for the whole truck for 1 or 2 cars

 

I would stay away from Reliable. I was there for about 3 months and it was total BS. O/O drive most of the enclosed trucks with the big aftermarket sleepers. I tried to get into one of their company enclosed trailers but they didn't have any openings. They did have openings in there open division and so I drove one of those for 3 months. As stated in one of the previous comments, there were times when I took maybe two or three vehicles all the way from Michigan to Utah. They were test vehicles. Then I would bring two or three back. Those were gravy loads. One time I took two big trucks. 1 was a Hino with something on the back of the bed and I managed to drive it all the way up on the back of the tractor on top. The other Hino was a stick shift and had about 10,000 pounds of weight in the back of it for a total of about 19,000. With both mirrors folded in, it was a very tight squeeze. Should have been put on a lowboy. Best I could do was back it onto the last deck on the back. You can imagine how that thing Road from Michigan down to Cleveland,Tennessee. What a nightmare!

I had several loads of high-performance vehicles. I had some Jeeps that were built lower to the ground and had high performance engines in them. Used to take them to race tracks where they got people interested. Sat there for 2 or 3 days without getting paid a dime. They give you a hotel card but you're allowed to use it twice a month.
They told me when an enclosed position became available they would knock on my door. One day I was complimenting a driver about what a nice truck he had. I asked him how long he had been at reliable and he said he just got started a couple days ago. I marched into the office and confronted them about their promise to put me in an enclosed truck.

They told me that the other guy had enclosed trailer experience. But that was not the deal we talked about. A short time later I had enough of their BS and called it quits.
