Where is everyone #5

U ever talk to lady truckers . ? Sometimes a good conversation with a woman who understands what truckers go thru is the greatest thing ? Especially women our age . Dont know the first thing about what we do....

 

The only one I seen around my age limit was parked in front/to the side of the pumps in my way and I drove around her after I seen her brake lights disengage, when I stopped she stared at me looking all pissed off with her ray bans on, I waved and then hit the road lmao! Probably wanted to kick my ###, good thing I’m not into bimbos

 

Anyone know where to get a speedo and tach for a 98 w9 or where to have them rebuilt at? Buddies trucks tach only kinda works and the odo is out on the speedo but works otherwise.

 

Yeah thats how i do it to if not enough room on one side or other ... Just make sure u got empty space underneath the ratcheting mechanism or when u go to tighten it , it will chew up the teeth.

 

U should talk to some of the older ones to . Usually get a great conversation out of it ... hell i aint the talkative type of person but its good to talk to other truckers every once in awhile even if its on the cb , just bsing. I know it always makes my day better.. Mostly because it doesnt seem to be a whole lot of camraderie out here, and the others just plain dont speak english. Kinda sad.

 

I call people I meet out here every now and then, like this other Western Express driver who helped me with the 7 or 8 mini coils on a skid I picked up months ago lol or see what Hillbilly is doing; think I’ve started every conversation somewhere along the lines of, “Did you decide to get to work today you lazy ####?”

 

Thats what makes trucking fun in my opinion... thats what i love about the gig i had going all summer. Was me and 3 other guys running these rocks. We ran together most everyday. Some of the most fun i ever had in my life . To me thats what trucking is about making good friends and having a good time.

 

Oh yeah apparently mge dawn or whatever his name is on here got let go from Western Express because he refused to drive in the snow, not that relevant now, but I’ve been trying to figure out his name since earlier

 

Definitely top 5 of things I don’t like about it is all these truck stops are designed to take your money and tell you to gtfo, none of them are set up how I pictured it (how they were) where you had an area to just sit around and meet new people

 

Hahah it sure aint like they show in the old trucking movies !
