Incredible. I was 3 yrs old! Thanks for sharing.
Sent you a PM. If you go on tour which I think you should, I’d love to meet. -
I've seen guys with Harleys behind their sleeper, no reason why you couldn't put a dual sport and an mx behind your sleeper.
Haul what you want when you want and hit the trails or track when you want. You could run out west and see all the sights, ride to fire lookouts, trout streams, mx tracks or whatever suits your fancy. Pan for gold in Nor Cal, rent a snowmobile in West Yellowstone all while taking the loads you want and leaving the ones you don't want.
Unless the equipment costs so much that you have to keep the wheels turning to pay it off.Dino soar, Accidental Trucker, not4hire and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'd pick #1 with a small change. An RV to tow your trailer.
And get a street bike too, whether it's a cruiser or a sport bike.
Dirt on the weekends and twisties during the week.
Pack it up and then move on to the next stop. -
Got a 2000 cbr 929......

I don’t really feel safe on the road anymore. Last 3 times I rode it was at the local road track on bike days....? Only got to 117 mph down the front straightaway ....:-/
I would agree #1 needs an RV......... -
Crawfordsville was the one and only national I’ve ever been too. Living in St. Louis we always went to the supercross, and when Crawfordsville made the docket we all packed up and went. It was a complete mudder and I still can’t believe how fast those guys were goin. I’ll never forget seein Tomac wide eyed thru his goggles, holding it pinned with the back end swapping around.
Man I remember when Doug Henry was the only one on a thumper and it was such a big deal. “Could it work? It’s so much heavier.” If memory serves I think he and Yamaha struggled a little to find their groove but once they did, yea... it worked. Hell I remember when John Dowd was 30 and it was such a big deal. I was like 12 and remember thinkin “omg what an old fart!” Now I’m 34, and turns out, 30 isn’t old!Flint1 Thanks this. -
