Question for some of you experienced guys, I've been out on my own for around 2 months now and have been offered a dedicated account job (costco) which comes with quite a decent pay raise .10$+cpm, I guess my question is, is there a catch to this, I usually stand by the old saying that if something is to good to be true is usually is, I know the runs will be shorter than OTR (I was told weekly miles are about the same) I plan on taking it to see how it goes just wondering if any of you guys could offer more insight to this. Thanks

Is there any way for you to talk to other drivers on that account?

Should be a pretty easy back in.
Just be careful and GET OUT and LOOK.
Most likely you will have a better schedule than OTR.
Ten cent raise after two months is good.

You should talk to other drivers on the account, company should be able to offer references. Good Luck!
Plenty companies in my area offer more coin on OTR but I can get my miles in faster on line haul so the extra $$ is not incentive.

Is there more pay than just mileage? I’d give it a shot. You can always go back OTR. I ran a dedicated tire account for almost two months. Went back OTR.

from what I remember of hauling Costco loads (back in the dark ages before I became enlightened and moved to flatbed), the Costco stores were very pissy to work with. They'd scream and holler about you being there on time, then would take hours and hours to unload you.

I don't know if it's gotten any better, but it's something to investigate. How long do you want to sit at a receiver?
