Didn't expect quite the response I got. Thanks a lot for the comforting words and great advice. I'll certainly remember these words as I'm safely cruising down the road. My solace, is that you guys have all been in my shoes and had my same concerns. You all started where I am, and look how far you've made it! -

Learn to scan ahead. Most 4 wheelers drive off the end of their hood. They cant see 2 seconds past where their car ends. Look down the road, scan ahead. Learn to anticipate the actions of others, and you'll knock the chances for an accident way down.

SEE, more good advise, we're all full of it.....advise that is.

Absolutely Aeromax!! And it doesn't come at the cost of big ego's or weird looks. I like the idea of turning the CB off if some #####***** decides to cuss me out because I'm going too slow. I'll go as slow as I feel safe is what I figure. And I'm sure most decent drivers would back me up on that. All the others can kiss my grass

"Dont let your mind wander, its far too small to be left out on its own".
(on the CB comment) - "Its better to keep your mouth shut and let them think your a fool, than to open it and prove them right".
(when a gaybob is hustling you on a CB) - "Hey driver, you can dip in the peanutbutter ALL you want, just dont splash none on me".
"When a Schnieder rolls over, be expecting to see "Yellow" frieght everywhere".
