The way I’ve always done it with a semi auto is hold the bottom of the stock with my left hand, gun in the air, slap a new mag in with my right hand, then with the same hand release the charging handle; I’m sure you can see how breaking position like that can be time consuming lol

Well, with an AR the BCG gets held open when the last round gets fired. That can work to your advantage. All you have to do then is slap an new mag in, hit the bolt release button, and you're ready to rock and roll some more.cke, jamespmack, PoleCrusher and 4 others Thank this.
