Wonder how long I missed you by @bigkev1115?
I left the yard at about 8:15/8:30 yesterday morning. Back down here in Miller, Nebraska today.bigkev1115 Thanks this. -
I was near the yard about that time. I may have seen you turning onto Columbia Ave as I was at the stop sign waiting to make a left to head towards the yard. If you drive a KW, it may have been you, not sure though

Yesterday, I delivered to the yard, went to get estimate for hood damage, and got truck serviced. I was kind of shocking to see them waiting on me since they had nothing to work on. I went and turned in paperwork and spoke to everyone.
They kept asking me how long will my truck be in the shop, because they " had loads and not enough drivers". I told them I couldn t do too much because I only had 15hrs left on my 70.
After my truck got out of shop, I went to West Fargo to a new customer, drop and hook, and took a load to Eden Prairie, MN which had to be there at 6am today, but I could drop it in a designated inbound door before then. I got there at 2030 last night, dropped loaded trailer, and now bobtailing back to Grand Forks.Lonesome Thanks this. -
Yep that was me. I had to get to Fargo otherwise I would’ve stuck around and got you that coffee. Lol.bigkev1115 Thanks this.

I made it back to Grand Forks around 12. I stopped and got a haircut, and grocery shopping. When I got back to the truck, I had 3 options either MI, WI, or CA, I m going back to CA again. I don t really care for MI, and never really have. And running I 94 from Fargo east sucks too.
I had planned on running out my 70 near Bismarck, but when I picked up the trailer, the chute was dangling from the ceiling, and had a flat tire. Since the shop was getting ready to go home, I will have to wait until tomorrow to get it fixed.
To hotroad1653 and Snow Hater, this will become a common occurrence with drivers here at S&S. Some drivers will drop defective trailers when they are at the yard and won t say a word to anyone, and leave it to the next driver to get it fixed.
I showed the mechanic and Sharon, both of them just shook their heads in disgust. Sharon is usually laid back, but I have never seen her get that angry beforeLonesome, LDYTRUCKER and hotrod1653 Thank this. -
Tell me about it, because I thinks I have one. The tandems on my dry box won’t slide. The rear pins won’t go in, so I figure a spring or something went out on them. Hopefully I can get loaded and head to a shop and get them fixed right quick. I got lucky with the last heavy load I pulled, didn’t need to slide them. Hoping for the same here.
Lonesome and LDYTRUCKER Thank this. -
If you pull out of Anniston, I'm officially the driver that tries to inspect and get repair requests in for trailers with issues. I try to keep up while I yard dog at the terminal, but its only dropped trailers at the end of the day if I have the time. Some of us do care lol.hotrod1653, Lonesome, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.
