CB shop black list.

My shop at exit 369 at the ta or the petro does not cut snip or clip any radios when tuning old techs in the past that no longer are employed here may have in the past but I tune and modify the proper way and do not do any mods that would affect any warranty on the radio from the manufacturer.don’t know who posted this but it would have been better if you posted the tech and blasted him instead of the shop in my eyes that’s called defamation of character and labeling shop as a whole instead of individual.if you would please remove this post unless you can provide proof beyond a doubt of said claim.we are located at the ta in Knoxville Tennessee in the old fuel island building.Thank you

 

In what state and on what Interstate might this exit 369 be on.

You are kind of on the right track but going about it the wrong way I think. Drivers don't know which tech did what most of the time. If you have taken over a shop that did questionable work in the past, or work in one with others that do/have done questionable work in the past, it is your job to state such and work to overcome that reputation, and or, tout your abilities so driver's know who to ask for when they walk in. Coming on here and getting all offended and huffy is not going to help you. JMHO......and good luck.

 

I was sb on the 81 in pa around the 10 yd stick....
A radio was splattering across about 15 channels..I found the ch and commented...
The tech(bob) said it was cause i was to close..I was sb and other trk was nb,lost him in 4 miles..If that was true then that cobra stock or not will be no good at a trk stop,man did it splatter.
Not that i know much but i know a cobra doesnt have the power to do that unless tampered with..
Seems this tech is in a building thats own by act or agt or something to that effect..
The tech said it was a cobra and the range is normal for a cobra..I laughed my ### of and said ok..
The $ you charged that driver to give him a splatter box and still only does the range a factory untouched cobra can do,ripped off..

I can't say enough good about this man and what he does. I will not have anyone else work on any of my radios. Will is honest and even when asked about if I should do this or buy that, the man has always been honest with me told me dont waste your money.

Good shops are very hard to find. Prices are fair, and you can trust his work.

 

I've often wondered how a person or business gets hisher / its reputation back after somebody on the Internet casts aspersions on herhim / it, rightly or wrongly.

I believe we're witnessing how to do it.

 

I dont know what has been said in the past, but I have been going there for 2.5 years and never had an issue with anything. I have been taken advantage of in other places. He has worked on 3 of my radios, and I have sent other people to him.

100% satisfied with his work and the cost.

 

Word has it Mr CB LLC at the Oak Grove, MO Petro is now closed. Good thing too, turns out the hack is a registered sex offender.

For my addition to the CB Radio Shop Blacklist I would like this shop to be added to the black list.

Reason why:

Death Row CB Shop located at the Loves Truck Stop in Jackson, GA. Once I got there I saw a lot of antennas of all kinds on the outside by the exit/entrance door. Once I went inside of the place I noticed a lot of dust, radios/new and used behind where the guy was working. The counters were completely covered with papers, pens, phones, tools, dust, and everything else.

Real bad issue about this place once you get inside of the location it smells like complete cigarette smoke that is how bad it smells in that shop. On the far right side there is a entrance to another shop that the owner uses to fix motorcycles of all kinds. In the far back left corner it looks like it this location use to be a tattoo shop with all the photographs of the tattoos you can use for your next tattoo.

From what others have told me and stated this Death Row CB Shop has been through a lot of techs and the CB radio locals and distance do not recommend this place and even the locals said they had problems with their radios getting repaired or given back by the owner once completed. I had one guy tell me not sure if this is true or not they had a lot problems with drug usage in that place.

The owner isn't friendly all you will see him do is walk around the shop going in and outside of the place smoking in front of you and walking past you.

Also, If you are allergic to animals especially dogs of all sizes...Stay away from here the owner has a dog and it's a big one in size and weight walking around and yes he will walk up to you. Am not sure if he will bite or bark. All the dog did while I was there for a short few minutes after I got my antenna (Stryker A-10mm mag mount antenna) the dog walked around.

They do give Military discounts but you have to ask for it.
