Looking at a 02 Century

    Looking at a 2002 Century with a C-12 430 hp with 680k miles. My biggest question is, when is a rebuild usually done on a C-12? And are they overall a good engine? I just want a truck to get me a year or two of service, then I'd upgrade to a newer one. Thanks.

    Another thing. Say's it has a 9 speed with 3.70 gears. That sounds like horrible MPG to me.

    I have 2000 c15 3406E 475 HP 830000 miles runs real strong. If the owner maintained the engine you should have no issues for the time frame that you said.
