I found it @singlescrewshaker here's what Stevens did to the hood the day after Xmas. Not even 4 months after painting it.

Did you have to put a whole new hood on there, or just fix it.?

I'm not going to mess around trying to fix mine. Just realized my ac compressor wasn't working today. Put a new ring terminal on the ac clutch power wire. Piece a deer or fiberglass from the hood coming apart must have broke it..

Anyway I could barely get the hood to sit back down on the rear hood seat? if that's what its called.. Seems the hood took more damage than just what's visible. Its quite floppy, to say the least..

Got used NEMF hood for 1000.

No heat in the garage used to be a horse barn 28x40 and drafty as hell. Blocked it off enough to bring up the temp to be able to paint and have it set. By the end of the night we were both loopy from the carbon monoxide. Looks sweet with the clear coats. I did grunt work and watched the old man paint. Think it was around 15 degrees out that night.

The hood is beefier than OEM now with all the glass we added to it.
