Just like the title says what would be the best way to get to the USCG Headquarters in that island, how much is that toll?

    Thanks

Last time I went through a toll area in San Francisco the toll was fifty bucks.

The route I would take is 15 from Vegas to Barstow, 58 to Bakersfield, 99 to 580.

Why 99? More places to stop.

    California went up. Dang tariffs.

    Used to be $25.

It seems California has a flat fee on tolls. Everyone i had to cross was $25 at that time.

Bridge tolls are still $25 for a truck/trailer. I have the Fastrak transducer in my truck and that's what I get billed for every crossing. The only way to avoid the toll on the Bay Bridge would be to take 101 north out of San Jose into San Francisco and enter the bridge from the west side. Personally, I'd rather pay the toll than to go through that. There are no toll takers on the bridges during the pandemic, so they just send a bill for the toll to the registered owner on the license plate.

    So I-5 North to 580 W, 880 North to 80 W, sounds like a good route?
    Thank you

If you're going in at night / no traffic you can do this to avoid tolls and it only adds about 10 miles to the way you want to go ...

    I-5 North to exit 403b (CA 152)

Take CA 152 West to the 101

    101 North to I-80

And I-80 right into your destination with no tolls ..

This route ^^ , the CA 99 route and the I-5 route are all within 10 min of each other WITHOUT traffic

Heads up though ; if you take the CA 152 to 101 route there are some decent climbs on CA 152 so you will waste a bit more diesel but you avoid the toll .

What time is your delivery? Early morning around rush hour, either route will take longer because of traffic.
