Howdy!...Friend used this on his frame and likes it, I am looking for more input, any and all advice appreciated !
-
I’ve used it for 20 years. Thee best and most durable and affordable epoxy out there.
My buddy used to manufacture bowling alley pedestals and we painted them all with this.
I than used it on all the metal parts on my commercial boats used in saltwater.
Doesn’t need a primer as it sticks like glue to metal.
I used to pay $90 for the 2 gallon pair years ago.
How much now ?Brettj3876 and mp4694330 Thank this. -
tommymonza Thanks this.

Sleeper vent. What to use to put on that rust and what sealant/caulking to assemby all together ( I am 100% sure from previous experience that need to use something)...Automotive epoxy maybe ???
-
Oh that silver stuff is just temporary covering hole, DOT tape.

Zinc primer for sleeper vent, flexible body caulk.
mp4694330 Thanks this. -
Sandblasting is the only way to totally eliminate the rust.
Zinc Oxide Chromate is a very good binder primer and isolator from corrosion.
If the part is sandblasted rust free the easypoxy will work just as well as using a primer
I generally only use zinc oxide chromate on aluminum to promote adhesion and prevent corrosion.
I usually mix it heavily on the acid side to get it to Bite into the metal for adhesion.
Yes it is a flexible paint.mp4694330 Thanks this.
