yes a $1.40 or so rate. in general (but nt always) is including the FSC. the agents have started to list the rate as all inclusive to make it look higher. so if the FSC is $.30 that leaves a $1.10 that you would give 34% of to landstar and you get all of the FSC.
another thing that chaps my ### is they charge you their percentage on extra stop pay too. the only thing you DONT pay them their percentage on is driver unload pay.

You get 100% of tarp pay and 100% of detention.
-
that's the general rule, but i've heard it's really no such thing. LS changes tarp and detention pay to some other pay so that they can get there percentage. what you turn in isn't what actually gets processed. -
On an average week at LS how much can you net to the truck after all the deductions pulling van........average mileage?
-
What you heard is not what I have seen. Tarp pay is always listed as tarp pay and I get 100% Detention is paid at 100% but you have to wait until the customer pays. If you can't wait for the money the agent can list it as layover pay and they take their cut.
What % do other van carriers take? -
pay 0 to ?
average miles 0 to ?
everyone is different
