Tell them to go pound sand.
That said, it's gonna be a PITA for a bit.
Have you been paid for the load yet?
If not, I'd be working in that direction.
If so, I'd just tell them what you've told us.

If your insurance co is worth a lick, you should hand all evidence over to them and let them take care of this. If you'be been paid on the load, check this off as a warning to not do business with TQL.

Your insurance company will believe TQL and write them a fat check. Your insurance will go up and might even cancel you. Been there before.

The real way to deal with this is court. You don't need a lawyer just need the will to follow through with it. Your claim will get more respect going through court than letting this "work out" with the insurance company. It only cost $60 to file a suit

No help from here ... Just, I did one load for TQL and got lied to 3 times on questions I had. That was it for me. It was 3 yrs ago.

I never call them and if they call I give them my "I really don't want to do business with you rate."

Burned by TQL isn’t a surprise to anyone. The long history with them is well known it’s not if but when they will bend you over. Risk is a part of the program so if you decide to keep playing the high risk TQL game there will be no sympathy when it goes south. You made a conscious decision to get in bed with a known ##### now go ahead and own it.

I took a tractor for them once. From Phoenix to Seattle. Flat tires with holes in them. Marked circles around the holes. Took pics where it sat and loaded it up.

A month later broker tried to hit the boss for 4 tires. I had to email boss again. And broker the pics. Don't know what happened after that.

Oh my goodness...TQL does not know what shame is.
I can't imagine I've done maybe 5 loads for them in the last 4 years and they spared me all that bad treatment.

I've done more than I can count with them and have always had no issues. I think the thing is the carrier really has to bring their A game to the table. Cross your t's and dot your i's and there's not much room to get burnt unless you're a total idiot.
