The best idea is not to get in those situations.
If it doesn’t look good, then it’s a no go.Last edited: Nov 10, 2020

Very true. I'm thinking maybe some farmer/construction truckers might have some good stuff to share.Caterpillar Cowboy and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I ain't no farmer but I did drive a logger. If you have to get dirty
"keep your drivers on firm ground." It helps to walk the route to see how soft it is.alds, tommymonza, Tb0n3 and 7 others Thank this. -
Good call! Didn't mean to forget the loggers!D.Tibbitt, Lumper Humper and okiedokie Thank this.

I got stuck in the mud once.
I called for a tow truck to drag me out.
On my dime, by the way. Cost me nearly $300, but it is better than getting a preventable accident on my record.
No damage to the truck, so I was lucky that I didn't have to report it to the company.
Actually, it happened twice with the same result.Bud A., rachi, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
This is how I do it...
D.Tibbitt, Dale thompson, Flint1 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ive hauled cattle out of the mountains in the mud... Its a full chain, full throttle kind of thing. Not something I recommend, when a chain lets loose the #### get real, real fast... And #### get tore up, it can get very expensive very fast.
Caterpillar Cowboy, JolliRoger, tommymonza and 5 others Thank this. -
don't muds
D.Tibbitt and Mark_2wain Thank this.
