Today I met one of the biggest jerk-off drivers I have ever met at Roehl. I went into the Garland yard to load my truck up for tomorrows launch. AT Garland you must get your truck and take it over to where the cars are parked. Well as luck would have it my batteries were low and I needed to jump it. Someone had put a 53 foot trailer on the left and right side of my truck so there was no way to pull my car or another thruck up to jump it. Well along comes truck **** and he is bobtailing, he yells out his window that it sucks my truck wouldn't start.

I ask him very politely if he could yank the empty tailer from the left side of my truck so I could get a vehicle into jump it. He looks at me and claims that since it is not a Roehl trailer he cannot touch it. What a "douche" I point it out that it is empty and can he just move it to a couple empty spots over. I would do all the hooking and cranking he just needs to move it. He again says no and drives off to unload his tractor to go home. What a complete jerk.

I then walk over and ask a Koch driver if he would help me and he does with no problem. I noticed that this Roehl driver was there over a hour after I asked him to help me. He drives **** and runs *** out of Garland and he is a complete jerkoff. Would it have hurt him at all to lend a fellow driver a hand? I am so sick of idiots like this in the trucking industry.

You don't have an APU? Run it long enough and the batteries recharge.

Hi Amy, Sorry its been so long but I tried to send you a pm but it wouldn't let me because I didn't have enough posts. Anyway Im not going to get to school the first of nov. They had to move me back because I got sick sat and was in the hospital I have to have gaulbladder surgery next week. They was real nice about it at roehl they told me not to worry about it just get better and call them and they would set me up another date. It's an out-pateint surgery so not bad. I was looking forward to having you as a friend there but maybe i will see you on the road in the neer future and have a coffee. still keep in touch I will talk to you later. dave

Unfortunately Roehl has a number of jerks. The ones that drive me nuts are the tattletales that stand around telling everyone what to do and then calling dispatch to tell on other drivers. Etch as for your problem I had a similar situation while I'm struggling with getting the tandems to slide a couple of other drivers jump out to help. This Roehl driver jumps out with his white tube socks, khaki shorts, white polo shirt and white ball cap to tell us how dangerous what we had to do was. I guess he couldn't get dirty because instead of helping he jumped back in his truck. When I first started with Roehl there was a driver complaining to dispatch that the trailer he picked up hadn't been swept. There are a bunch of drivers that need to grow up, get a life and start looking out for their fellow drivers.

I was the guy having to move this past week. A driver from another company had backed in so close to my mirrors he couldn't move. So he comes over and knocks on my door to ask me to move...Only problem was this was 2:00 a.m. and I was sound asleep. Ahh the life of a trucker.

I am a believer in "What goes around, comes around." If you're a tattletale, you better never do anything wrong because someone is just waiting to tell on you. If you won't help a fellow driver, just wait you will need help when you need it most and it will be nowhere to be found.

At the risk of being negative again....since it's not a Roehl trailer dispatch won't have anything to say about it because you can't hook up to a trailer that isn't the company's you work for.

I misunderstood ...... I thought it was a Roehl trailer ....... Preacher Man I'm not a tattletale as you say .... when I was in a big jam a couple of months ago(truck died while at a shipper dock), a Roehl driver jumped in to help out and yes I did let dispatch know how this driver helped out .....
