Wanna get out of semi and into hotshot

    Hello I live in New York City and want to quit driving semis and start driving hotshot to gain experience for when i start my own hotshot company. Any companies in the northeast?

    I used to do auto transport, literally nothing to learn as far as the car side, throw a strap over a wheel and crank it down. I'd seriously consider using a road tractor though, why not have all the pluses of that over a pickup with weird sleeper setups, low fuel capacity etc? A couple cars on a wedge trailer would feel like nothing to a real truck, put almost no where on it vs a 53' at all. Even for the guys with the dually crew cabs those trailers and 3/4 cars must be a descent beating on those trucks and tires.

    Ok Im definitely considering hauling cars as well as general freight and a few military loads...plus i have my hazmat endorsement
