i look at it as comedy more than drama, and im no expert by any means but i believe low blood sugar can be caused from being overweight and lack of diet and excersise , an being overweight can be caused by rolling down the road chugging mtn dew leading to low blood sugar and a seizure. but im no dr so i may not have a clue what im talkin about. lol

hey guys i bought a breathalyzer… i drank a bottle of wine that contains 100ml ethanol. only blew a .02% I drove clear across town and back to different stores. no problems! so I'm pretty sure as long as you don't take the alcohol in the cab you are fine so im thinking... buy it then go into the showers and chug the ####... you can get a breathalyzer from walmart.com for cheap.
I'm definitely not saying drink and drive commercial vehicles but at this level of intoxication i could see myself getting forced to drive. AGAIN as long as there is nothing in the cab should be fine. -
also can you imagine truckers start brewing in the cab? its 100% possible lol with a distillery and evereything... (such a bad idea its not even funny)
so go to this site and check it out... BAC CalculatorLast edited: Nov 17, 2020

I seriously hope no one that wants to drive for a living would try to find the parameters to be under the legal BAC and drive. Best not to have any alcohol in your system and drive any vehicle.

Badmon, Gearjammin' Penguin and REO6205 Thank this.

Our insurance has a no tolerance clause. If one of our drivers gets busted for alcohol...in any amount and at any level...we just bought ourselves what could be a ruinous amount of litigation. The insurance company will kiss us off and they make that very clear.
As far as "being forced to drive"...there's no way they can legally do that. It's called coercion and it's definitely actionable.kemosabi49 Thanks this. -
I recommend being EXTREMELY careful with that rule about alcohol levels. According to 40.247 (b) if you blow 0.02 or higher on an alcohol test, you will be forced to blow again under the rules set out in Subpart M and I will copy and paste what that rules says if this level is found in that 2nd test. From 40.255 (5) >>>(5) Immediately transmit the result directly to the DER in a confidential manner.<<<< I can save you a lot of reading. Once this happens YOU ARE IN DEEP DEEP Trouble! As @REO6205 just stated, you might find yourself out of a job, and even when cleared to return a lot of carriers will be unable to hire you. Best to just keep the drinking when on home time or during a 34.
