    I recommend Cypress Truck Lines in Jacksonville. Pretty good starting pay. Most loads are pre-tarped (U.S. Gypsum is their main customer). I see them running back and forth on I-10 all the time. They’ll send you home with a load, and you can park near your home. Guaranteed weekends home, too, but it will probably only be for 34 hours.

    Terminal is a dump. Equipment is old for newbies. At six months you’ll get a pay increase and a new (er) truck, provided you don’t screw up.

    With a mega your only drive around 500 miles per day. The mega would have had you go by Greyhound as their favorite choice of transportation
