The other night I was driving my car down the highway trying to get home. There were no other cars and no streetlights so I had my high-beams on. I approached a truck ahead of me who was driving the speed limit in the right lane, so I switched to the left. For whatever reason, I forgot about my high-beams as I moved up next to him and eventually passed him.
As I drove off, he gave me a quick flash of his high beams - I don't know if that was a 'screw you!' or a 'hey, your high-beams are on!'. I realized mine were on, and I felt bad. I didn't know how to signal it, so I tapped my hazard lights twice quickly.
To whoever you are, I'm sorry!
High-beams - I'm sorry!

Most truckers realize that mistakes are made. and we forget sometimes ourselves. If he had been mad, he would of left his hi beams on to punish you. but instead he just let you know that you messed up.
southernpride and kickin chicken Thank this. -
Yeah, be thankful that driver wasn't like that tanker driver in the movie "Dual" with Dennis Weaver back in the 70's.......

Yeah i'd say he was just letting you know.. If he had left them on and/or put his work lights (Lights on the back of the truck) on, then he was probably upset.. But in this case, i doubt it.
It's good that you cared enough to realize it, though. Most people don't give a ####.. So thanks for not being selfishsouthernpride Thanks this. -
Haha, i watched that for the 50th time the other day... Even with as corny as it is, it's still a #### good movie =) -
