weird intermittent problem here. sometimes the radio, windshield wiper, and passenger power window switch will not work...all at once. then randomly i will get power to them, and if i flip the wiper switch or window switch, they will all lose power to all 3 for a period of time, and randomly come back on or sometimes i have to cycle the key switch to get it back on. sometimes they all work as they should, sometimes flipping one of them on will immediately kill all power to them.
any ideas?
*edit* also noticed the blower under the seat also tied to these other 3. its almost as if the key on (accessories) isnt working or is shortening out?
Weird electrical problem

I would see if you can find a common grounding point and clean it up and inspect it. You could also unplug each one of those components one by one. Unplug the window switch and try everything. If that doesn’t work, hook it back up and unplug the radio. Repeat this process until you’ve took each variable out. Maybe the radio or window switch is causing a weird resistance issue that chokes out the voltage to the others. -
the truck will not turn on unless i jump the 2 wires on my ignition switch..OR...shoot ether in the filter. i wired 2 wires from the ignition switch to a toggle that i flip every time i crank the key. im not sure if that is somehow tied to it? -
Did you replace the ignition switch yet?

Start up problems
long story short, lost my keys, replaced ign switch...may have shorted something removing plug?...put my old ign switch back in and was still having start up problems (only with ether OR touching the 2 wires together while cranking). i hard wired a toggle to bypass whatever was wrong and have been driving that way for a few months now.Last edited: Nov 15, 2020

new ignition switch and no change.
ive been playing with a test light with the wires behind the dash and found some weird stuff. the big relay behind the dash (3 prong solenoid). the power prong always has power, obviously, but when i switch the key to on, the small terminal with one wire always lights up, but the big one under the power prong, which is the accessory prong...doesnt always light up with power. and, even if it does and all my accessories come on, as soon as one is switched on (power window, windshield wiper, etc.) that stud loses all power until i let go of the switch. i replaced that 3 prong solenoid already thinking it was the culprit of my truck not starting. im completely lost.......
any ideas? -
Bad ground, there may be a common ground for these items.
also, check your fuse box, sometimes there is a corrosion problem with some cheap fuses and the fuse box itself.BUMBACLADWAR Thanks this. -

Maybe that relay is getting stuck. Should only be like ten bucks to switch it out. I have a power probe tool I like to use on relays. I can hook up a good ground alligator clip from the power probe, then send 12v power to the 87 circuit I think it is. If the relay is good, it’ll click.
