Well another week in the books, and it’s still going good. Went out to BFE, Wisconsin this week, then had to haul rear up to Wausaukee. Brought that back across and stopped off at the yard, got a few pallets for Pembina thrown on for good measure and headed up to Winnipeg.

Made a very tight left turn, and my trailer I had before I pulled the hero wagon, decided it wanted to rub a stop light.:confused:

Didn’t do anything except scrape the trailer a bit. The city sent a crew to check it out, guy told me that it gets hit once or twice a week. He asked why I couldn’t have just knocked it over. I told him S&S isn’t the business of buying poles, he said no but we are a good pole dancing company. Lol. It’s a preventable for me, ah well.

Delivered at Crookston last night, then down to St Cloud today for a D-H plus another pick up in West Fargo for Winnipeg. Heading there Monday. :D:D:D:D

Feel free to laugh at me. Lol.

Its all good man. S and S is a very understanding company. At least you reported it right away. That s the key here. I ve seen far worse. I ve seen a driver take a trailer from Chicago to Anniston, after hitting a bridge, and did not report it. Yep they got fired for not saying a word about it.

Then a student that I told wasn t going to make it, they hired anyways, tore up a gas station awning with a trailer. Tore the left corner post, and about 4 feet of the roof. He had the nerve to blame S and S and the GPS when I asked what happened. SMH

After I delivered in Warren, MI I did a 2 stop pickup in Clinton and Macomb, MI, I went to Toledo to pick up the rest of load going to Janesville. I didn t think I would make until Sat am, but made it Friday night and unloaded Saturday morning.

I hung around for the video safety meeting, I don t know which was worse, some of the drivers I watched it with, or the meeting itself. The only good thing about that meeting is that I got the top miler 2 years in a row, and have no interest in doing it 3 times in a row or more.

After the safety meeting, I headed towards Anniston for Monday delivery, celebrate my birthday, and to get my DOT physical done since it had a 0600 to 2100 delivery window.

I got up early and took care of physical. When I got back in my POV, I had 2 text messages and 2 missed calls asking about when am I going to deliver the load. So I had to rush back home and deliver. Sat 2.5 hrs to unload, then they put me on a load that they wanted in PA like yesterday. I only had 4.5 hrs on my 70. They claimed no other driver around, but when I stop at the Anniston yard, there s 5 drivers in their trucks twiddling their thumbs. I just shook my head.

Once I went to go pick up PA load, they told me that they won t let anybody in past 3pm. Keep in mind its 5pm, so after a few minutes, I dropped and hooked and came back home. They could ve bought the trailer to the yard, and had me picked up from there, but nope. End of rant

Sheesh you’ve been a busy man. It was an adventure this morning at GF. Phones were down, which meant none of us Canada drivers could get our paperwork, so once they were up and going 4-5 of us all left at once lol.

Got my stops kicked off easily, (didn’t hit a light pole this time ) did a double drop and hook at Carfair in Winnipeg. That’s an interesting place if you’ve never been there...

You have very limited room in back to accomplish this feat.... Thankfully they know we’re coming so they clean the yard up a bit. Dropped a package at Crookston, MN and now am at Rothsay, MN since my clock got burned waiting to cross back into the US.
