    Guys
I once drove a Scammell Crusader (Cab over) from Tehran across Turkey to Sophia. Under my seat/dog house cover was a Detroit! You can keep the "zorst" noise to yourself! :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25526:

You don't have a muffler on a 2010 W900. Thats a DPF and your dashboard will light up like vegas if you do anything with it.

Well you could do like a guy I used to work with. He used to put old batteries in his stack after about a year the acid ate up the baffles and voila! :biggrin_2559:

I was gonna say a 2010 Kw, messing with the stacks could be asking for BIG problems, with the computer making all the adjustments to fuel mix and everything, i would leave well enough alone. I drove a international with a v8 deisel and straight pipes, no a/c, man after 8 to 10 hours you couldnt hear a thing, you needed heavy duty ear plugs in order to drive that truck.

Well stack wise there isn't much to them, just a standard pipe with a nice monster chromed diffuser on the top. Now that diffuser does serve a purpose by lowering the temp of the exhaust down to a reasonable temp. They're built pretty well, it'd cost a pretty penny to get something better than what KW put on the w900 factory.

But your right, mess with anything underneath, cat or cummins, and you'd end up with problems.

Trucks with 2008 and newer engines can NOT have their mufflers removed. They will NOT run with out them. There is basically nothing that can be done to make them louder. You can thank our emission regulations for this.

Wow.. That really sucks guys.. Screw that then.. I found a nice like 81 kw aerodyne cabover.. I believe that's its name.. Its for sale and in really exellent condition.. I'm looking to buy it.. Bump it up in the power dept over a short period of time.. And run logs locally with it..

So I won't have to worry about many scales or it beiong to loud.. That's crazy about the w900.. All thee new trucks and cars alike.. Their making it where u put a performance air filter in.. And u got a dash light commin on..

Loud pipes are a call from a child that never received love or attention at home. Hey every body look at me. When you are woke up at least once a week by these loud pipes, you come to the conclusion that they are nothing but uneducated, self-centered and unprofessional dumb@#@es.

The best one local, is the tri-axle dump truck driver that was giving 4 one hundred dollar tickets in one week running down local county roads, flat ground no need for a jake, 4 in the morning with his jake on. Every few hundred feet he would let the straight pipes bellow out. Locals called in on this idiot every morning for a week. He learned that when running local you should control the noise. $400 in tickets and a muffler = slow learner.
