good point...nothing is worth termination.
we have a no idle policy during lunch breaks (local concrete trucks) I've seen guys hide trucks, or turn on heaters full blast in the dead of summer if guys park in the fuel isle or idle thru lunch.
one time they put deer pis in a guys heater vents.....ohhh that was nasty..

Let's face it, these days many drivers out there don't even know how to drive a car properly, much less a truck.
I am hardly God's answer to truck driving, but at least I was trained in a day and age when there was some pride in the work. -
I've seen many a driver drop a trailer on the fuel island because they blocked someone in and they pulled the pin! I watched one driver cut the air lines on a truck and then he went in to the restaurant and announced it in a loud voice! That was one heck of a fight and the guy who had parked not only got his arse kicked had to buy a new set of airlines, but they both got a ride to the jail house! I don't think he ever parked on the fuel island again!
Another good one is when they get a dime put in the air line and it takes them forever to figure out why the brakes wont release! -
im so glad this post came up!, just today it happend to me 2 times!!!!
pilot on 40 in tn, dont remember where, but no truck parking just 3 fuel pumps, 1 crst truck driver decides to do a full blown out inspection of his truck at the fuel island, and im not talking about thumpin the tires and checking the lights, im talking measuring the depth on the tires, ALL of them, the air pressure on ALL the tires, under the hood, checking the cross mombers on the trl, wiping the dirt off the reflective tape all around the trl, cleaning the lights, the windows, inside and out, pissed me off! i walked up to him and told him to pull up to the yellow line!, told me he was taking over the wheel and wouldnt move the truck till him pre-trip was over!, ok, im glad he was pre triping, but pissed he was doing it at the fuel island!,
next, an england truck in the middle island, i assume training, nobody near by, no fueling taking place, didnt pull up to the yellow line, the truck to the left, not sure who it was, but he was noplace to be found, not even pilot, said the truck was sitting their for an hour, and they called the company already, fed-ex double blocking the only exit behind the pumps, and he wouldnt move, finaly crst pulls up to the yellow line, i pull up, and the england drivers come out, both with back packs, which i would assume they may have taken showers, or were in the bathroom freashining up, im not sure but pissed me off!, then a loves, The Big G, truck blocking the fuel island for 25 mins while he sat inside and enjoyed is subway, i went inside and told loves to page him, and he continued to sit and enjoy!,
whats wrong with people these days!!?!? when i pull to a fuell island and run inside i worry an angry mob is waiting for me on my way back to my truck in 3 mins.
oh and the 3rd truck driver was across the street enjoying lunch at the kfc! -
sounds like cookeville...
-
notarps thats it!!!! after i posted i got my t/s book and looked...cookeville!, i drew a red line through the it as a mark to never stop again!

Buck Lure* is sold at WalMarts and is very effective, most commonly applied to the fresh air vent of personal vehicles owned by "problem drivers".
-
Don't know how many times at Walcott sit there and wait for someone to come out. Here they come with a weeks worth of junk food, then get in the truck and drive to the nearest pull through parking spot and park for the night.

Yesterday, Pilot, Mahwah NJ, seems two drivers coulnt pull thier trucks in straight. They blocked an entire filling bay with the back of thier wagons. Pissed me off.
