If I am only getting, say, 50 gallons of fuel. Do I / should I put the fuel in both tanks or is it just fine to simple add it to one tank and let the fuel system equalize it between the tanks?
I very seldom do anything but fill up with fuel. But, I'm on a load that must have been loaded screwy and if I fill my tanks, I'll be overweight on my drives. I have enough weight room for around 50 gallons and that should also give me enough to get to my destination too.
Stupid fueling question

I always split them. Even if I'm only getting 50 or 60.

I like filling the passenger side, if I'm only getting half a tank, that way I can watch the gauge go UP for a few miles....LoL

Whichever tank draws quicker, my passenger side will pull 10-15 gallons more then the drivers side over a tank

Thanks guys. Gona dump 50 gallons in my drivers side tank and see what happens. Sounds like I should be fine.

I always split mine. Just seems like one less thing to worry about. Plus I'm a little OCD and it seems like the only right thing to do.
Lumper Humper, truckdriver31, alds and 1 other person Thank this.
