That's why I'd take those loads. Pull into Laredo and hear nothing but crying on the radio. This guy's been here for 3 days, that guy's been here a week, omg there's no freight. I go in the office and they've got a load going to long island that no one will take. Hell, I'll take it. Out of there in half a day.

Yes the "book" is ok but having to turn the pages brcomes a pain! And it doesnt sit in your lap as well! Me I keep a paper fold out map for $4.95 you can fold it for the area you need and it's eeasier to handle.

Anyone who goes into NYC and doesnt have a stand alone map is asking for trouble! Even if you have directions going IN how do you get out! That town isn't made up of all 2 way streets! Buy the map! And don't reliy on it alone! That section in your Rand McNalley is about the bigest waste of paper! It's good for a general idea!

I've been doing NYC for 30 years and I ALWAYS have a map and also maps of all the MAJOR cities I go to! They're tax deductable and can be kept in a cardboard box for storage! Also try to get the low clerance over pass map for chicago! That is one roof saver!

The 5 boroughs book is a must if you're going to fun the boroughs. Remember in NYC the bridges are mark at least a foot shorter than the sign. For example, you can run the entire BQE with a 13'6 unit even though the signs tell you to get off at Atlantic Avenue if you are over like 12'2 or something like that. I run Long Island usually at least twice a week or I'm used to everything up there. As a matter of fact I have to go to Rockville Center in the morning so another Monday morning heading up to the GW and playing in traffic if I leave after 4am from my house.
