Meat planst are the worst about getting those high loads at. Somebody once told me that every time a yard dog picks up and drops a tlr, that it extends the legs some more. Don't know if thats true or not but haven't got a meat load yet that I haven't had to crank down.

There r no advantages on getting supersingles on the trk. One they are more expensive, second if u have a blowout u don't have ur backup dual to get u to a shop, third most of the time u gotta change the axle due to increased weight on the rear ends, last it sucks on handling on snow. It may sound good on paper but in reality the disadvantages outweigh the advantages
As far as steers on drives its up to u, they wear out faster cuz they are not designed to handle the torque also u get less traction in snow also. I would just go with a set of low rolling resistance drives likes the michelins. -
What's a fuel miser? Best way to save fuel SLOW DOWN. Going wide open isn't going to get u there that much sooner than someone going 60. U hear ppl say that its 12 miles difference so in 11 hours that should be 132 miles ahead. Reality is that 72 hour trk will be stopping for fuel more and much more stressed out trying to pass other trks. Fuel wise I know someone that used to work here runiing wide open and only getting 900 miles per fuel up. Someone that run under 65 can push 1200-1500 miles.

Most meat plants have u drop triler in a dirt lot where the ground isn't even. Most the time to drop it you gotta crank it way down in order to even drop it.

:smt039 Hiya! Just spent loads of hours last night going through this site and primarily in this group!
Refreshing to say the least to see a group of drivers that love the company they drive for as much as you guys & girls do! Impressed me so much I had to put in my app!
So we'll see how it goes, with luck I'll be joining your ranks soon...

Welcome mad max,
I am KH. I have done an evaluation of the various lease programs and think JCT is the best. LMB got my attention when he said breakdown told him to get his tires on the national account saving him $$$$. Check this out:
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...003-an-depth-look-various-lease-programs.html
You will see JCT is better when compared to to others. Do not believe me, ask Vulcan on why he came to here from Prime. Ask Excel on what FFE group did to him that made him come here. JCT has miles if you want to run.
