today I was behind a student driver who decided to be confused how to exit 94 and came to a complete full panic stop instead of just going on. I wouldn’t see he would be a safe driver, but one of those white knuckle drivers.

I know Schneider will take on new CDL graduates and train them, I think they're one of the few who takes on new drivers but I could be wrong I'm not sure. Don't know much about them though.

 

Good luck in whatever you decide! That being said, remember that all the “driving experience” you think you have ( since turning 16 ) will mean virtually nothing. Look at this profession not so much as driving but operating a large piece of heavy equipment at a high rate of speed for extended periods. Never let your guard down and you’ll be ok with whatever you decide.

Unless you particularly want to haul fuel, I would be jumping at Linehaul. Easily make the money you want and get home everyday.

Thats what I would be doing now, if I could find a job where I live.

Don't waste time doing flatbed if thats not where you want to be long term.

 

Haha my luck if I went there they would put me in a day cab for that run
