    I'm buying a truck from a dealer in Oklahoma and I live in new york city. I want to know if im going to have to pay sales tax for the title to be in my name and if so is there any way around this so I dont have to pay the taxes ?

    Before you bought the truck, you did do a dyno and blowby and all the other stuff you need to do?


    To answer your question, I think ny has rolling stock exemption which you will need either a lease contract with a carrier or your own authority.
