If they're owned by P&S I doubt you're gonna see more home time unless you're running regional with weekends at home.
cke Thanks this. -
I thought you pulled containers in NJ/NY and made lots of money and were home a lot.cke Thanks this.

Long story short I moved to tankers few years ago chasing the money (about 2k more a week than ports) and ran away from nj due to having to pay almost 15k in property taxes a year for a 800 sq feet home, and ended up in Georgia... Wife being a military contractor it's time to pack up again and move to tampa,fl and trucking wise everything sucks in florida but fishing is good.

I get home every 2 weeks and tanker freight right now sucks like a 1.40 a mile to the truck including deadhead miles which can be 300 or more miles easily between loads

"This" Shelton Trucking - Shelton Trucking? Any idea? ? If so, if you search on this very site for Shelton Trucking there are a few threads mentioning that company. That's all I know...

I can't see how leasing onto a company that is owned by a larger company makes financial sense. They get their freight from P&S right? So why not just lease right onto P&S and cut out the middleman?
cke Thanks this. -
I spoke to p&s they kinda lost me at driver facing camera and a 4k a week truck profit before going home.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Driver facing camera as a lease operator or as a company driver?

What are you going to do? Stay with Quality Carriers?
