I must of been a minority, did 3 lease purchases and completed every one of them and got the title to all 3 trucks. So it can be done just have to find right carrier. My case it was a small company less than 100 trucks.

 

Please keep us updated as to who you go thru, a class action might be something that can occur if enough people join.

 

Anybody know how the company side is thinking about signing on over there

 

I talk to their Van/Reefer guys often, they all say its pretty horrible, and talk about going to Fry Miller lol. I've talked to some of their deck guys, and they are the complete opposite and love it; but they were also driving W900's and 389's.

 

Thanks bighoss, I was looking at the dry van side, wanted to do drop deck or flat but they have no openings, recruiter said I could put my name in the hat that they within on open deck drivers

I've heard that so many times, from so many companies, don't put much faith in it (the hiring from within thing).

If you're gonna do Van or Reefer, I would think about Crete/Schaffer, most American drivers I know, usually do the rounds at WFX/Fry Miller/Pride/CR England/Swift/Prime/Stevens and then land there, all seem to be happy. I only know one guy who quit Crete (don't remember why) came to Heyl, lasted 6 weeks and went back to Crete. I still keep up with him, and he's and O/O there now.

The deck guys I see rolling loaded the most, are Melton and Mercer.

 

10-4 I'm actually approved at crete as we speak for the Kelloggs dedicated out TX, but concern about the micro truck managing ( cameras 62 mph driver mitigation systems driver point system automatic transmissions) don't think I would be a good fit
