Idle goes weird when i switch cruise control on.

    Anyone run into a hunting or weird none stable idle when cruise switch turned on and idle speed raised?

    If i lower the idle to stock its fine but as soon as its raised with the cruise sitch it starts.....

    Yep. Happens with the Cat in my Freightliner. It’s a frequency thing. Happens at the same rpm usually. Just bump it up or down a button push at a time until it clears up. Mine does it worse at 950. Clears up at 900 or 1000.
