The quick loader is lighter. I'm in a 80ft highrail it's 44,480 empty our 80 ft quickloaders are all around 42,700-43,600 the heavier ones are all big sleeper petes

I don't have any trouble with the high rails. If I can't get out the door it's because I have the vehicle loaded wrong. Sometimes you have to get out the back door but not too often. Both have pros and cons. The quick loader is designed to load quickly. One of the things I like about the quickloader is that you can load behind the cab from the top deck. You can't do that with a high rail. You also can't split deck with a quick loader. Split decking gives more options. Now they're coming out with the 80 foot quick loaders so you can get more units on there without having to stack. The longer trailers look like they have more tail swing too.. The the other bad thing about a high rail is you're always having to fool with the flippers depending on what you have to load and then you have to slide the deck back to the other deck in order to load. This costs time and effort. If you forget to slide, you can drop off the deck and cause damage. (It happens) There are pros and cons with both the quick loader and the high rail.
