Does anyone possibly has a more clearer diagnosis for this blowby so I know where to start, but here is the story. I have a Cat C15 inside and 05 Freightliner Columbia it started when a hose kept blowing on the air compressor not ac compressor but air compressor I kept replacing hose because everything else was fine 4x time be exact then it stopped then my oil cap blew off about 4x and I replaced with a more snugger cap then it stop . Finally I replaced air compressor and it was plugged with dirt and air system started running better then coolant gets low but no leaks and would almost run hot but temp goes back down to 180 - 200 but stop and go traffic temp goes up then replaced radiator and that helped but coolant still gets low with a lot of pressure in cooling system and excessive blowby but oil doesn’t consume much about 2 gallons between oil change I use 15-50 with lucus because oil would loose viscosity at 7500 miles. Bu truck runs fine. I have 781000 miles so is that probably head gasket of just and in frame or something else?

I was always told if your coolant is pressurized its either a bad gasket in your compressor, or bad head gasket. If the gasket is going on a cat head, 95% chance you have a cracked head as well.

Is it pushing the coolant out the over flow or do you think its burning coolant?

    15W-50???? AND Lucas????

    Why?

What's the reasoning for oil losing viscosity? Oil samples taken?

How much smoke is coming out of your blowby hose?

You can see it underneath the engine if you still got the same length hose.

I had broken piston rings but nothing blowing apart.

    JCTexasdriver and Muddydog79 Thank this.

Sorry guys didn’t see the responses....
But I had to add length to hose because to much smoke was coming through the cab....

    Muddydog79 Thanks this.
