Coming Interstate Mask Mandates

I see them all around in truckstops up and down 95 in multiple states running back and forth NY to Florida.
I will say this in my town of 500 virtually no one wears a mask.
In the last year we have had a huge influx of people moving upstate from nyc buying up real estate and renting vacations homes.
We have had over fifty new residents move in since last December yet COVID cases in town remain ZERO?
Some of this just doesn’t make sense according to their science?

 

If masks worked there would not be a surge right now.

 

Last I checked our local recommendations it says wear a mask if its not possible to maintain social distancing. Thus I just stay away from everybody. Not that hard to do.

Hell when they first started putting the 6 foot spacing stickers on the floors of stores, I found 6 feet was already about 4 feet closer to others than I was naturally comfortable with
