Had this salmon in the freezer for a while and need to get it used up.

I'll marinate it tomorrow then wednesday set it in front of a fan for four hours till it gets shiny then toss it on the smoker. I only do it once or twice a year cause it's a pain in the butt.

Always boil a dozen eggs to put on with it....love smoked eggs

 

Throat punch it and kick it in the tires.

Grew up on US 50, Ely,NV and now it looks like I'll die on US 50 in CA! Principal of my grade school was my mother's 6th grade teacher, had 5 of my mother's teachers. High School Principal was my mothers high school sweatheart....small town liiving...can't get away with anything!
We had a choice back then, order from JCPenny catalog, Sears catalog, or drive 300 miles (give or take) and do your "back to school shopping" in either SLC, Reno, or Vegas....been back and forth Ely to Reno countless times....big rig, better not break down...it'll cost ya!
Fun times in late August....the red beatles are migrating....from Winnemucca to just east of Austin....slimy slippery roads...watch yourself and watch the ground appear to be moving right out from under you.

U know exactly the hills im talking about then . It is very tempting when ur at the top of the hill and its a straight shot down for about 10 miles. Although once was enough for me. Id hate to have a tire blow out going that fast.
