What do you mean RPM is high?
If that's power to the ground, I would say its fine. We dyno'd a new 500 hp Series 60 many years ago and saw 411 to the ground.TallJoe, D.Tibbitt, Newbieboy and 1 other person Thank this. -
84% of rated power to the ground is good. Most common reason to do a dyno is to measure blowby and hp to the ground. Just measuring hp seems a waste.
-
Where is the blowby, the most important number. But because it is above 75% of rated power, it looks good.

I am buying truck from CSM KENWORTH WISCONSIN.. just now i got this repair detail from CSM. Currently truck have 428k miles on the dash. Ecm is replaced back in 2016.

Currently truck have 428k miles back in 2019 June truck had 408148 miles. You guys think odometer is tempered? @Chinatown

this is what i got reply from CSM KENWORTH...they are not allowing me to take truck to another shop...
(There is no way to measure blow by on the newer dynos. We have not measured blow by for years.)Last edited: Nov 24, 2020

I did this on my 2014 ISX
ETA: No, this isn’t me. I went to Lowes and bought the stuff to do it just like the video. -
Honestly its making good power I wouldn't even worry about checking blowby.

What do you think about ECM replaced? 2016 to 2019 june truck put 408148? We are in Nov 2020 Truck have 428k miles on the dash. Getting kinda weird feeling.
