Owner of a leasing company sending me out first trip with them. Older R190 IH integral sleeper. Freshly painted and shiny. He said as he opened the door wide to display the interior, and I quote:
"It is not as new as it used to be, but it is a good old truck". Pic reminds me of a "good old truck".

My main concern was that bent up step plate, definitely a SAFETY factor.

More heart attacks have been caused by the snick/ker klack of a pump gun than by bedroom doors opening at inopportune times. Just saying.....

    Reminds me of a joke....
A woman and a man are having a romantic moment. They hear a car door close and the woman tells the man to hide in her closet.
As he is hiding in the closet, the man realizes her son is also hiding in the closet.
The boy declares "its dark in here". The man is taken aback and asks the boy "yeah, what of it?"
The boy says to the man I have a baseball I could sell you for $50. That way if my dad catches you here you can say your here to play catch.
The man agrees and pays the boy $50 for a baseball.

A week later and the man finds himself in the closet yet again. The boy declares "its dark in here"
The man says what is it this time. The boy sells the man a baseball glove for $50.

A few days later the father of the boy says. Hey son, letst go play some catch. The son politely declines and says he sold the ball and glove at $50 each.
The father is upset and tells the boy he must go to the church and confess his sins.

The boy enters the confessional and declares "its dark in here"
The minister on the other side declares. "Ok, what will it cost me this time....................."

You should seal it and put a solid cover over the hole. Drill a new one higher up. Use one of those rubber stoppers, with the wing nut, from the backside. Cover the front with a blank cover. Kit from Home Depot, with the spring loaded drain plug, foot operated would work great. Then all you’d need is another cover. Get 2 kits. You’ll have an extra foot operated stopper. They only last a few yrs anyways. But they’re nice. Easy to install.
