I have always used Garmin GPS. Had a 760 then upgraded to a 770. It always gave me problems. It was replaced when only a few weeks old. While on a trip 3 weeks ago it went dead. I was going into a few cities for PU and deliver. Needed something better than Google maps. I had a bunch of J points so bought the new 700OTR. I hate it. Does not calculate like the 770 Near impossible to load POI's. When I finished my trip I emailed Garmin about the 770. In less than 12 hours they responded with a UPS mailing label. I sent it back prepaid by Garmin. Today I received a refurb 770 that is actually brand new at no charge. Updated the maps and downloaded a few POI's. I am a happy boy!! Garmin has always had good support. They are very busy but you can leave a number and they do call back quickly. Not many electronic companies have that kind of l lifetime support . I would have bought the newre 780 but it is sold out. The larger OTR units like the 800 are supposed to be better. The 770 is bulky but I have a really good aftermarket suction cup that is extra long and sturdy. Sometimes older is better.

Lately I have been getting a lot of mis directions from my Garmin 770. And quite a few "Can not calculate route" warnings. I have pretty much given up on it and am using CoPilot on my Ipad mounted to my windshield. Much better directions and alot easier to see.....
