If he's clean. I'm guessing he didn't receive a citation. Nothing to worry about except maybe company records and eventually reporting to dac.

    The cops quote was
.somebody has to b blamed..there was no damage to my tractor or trailer. Just the pedestrian..so police claimed they had no evidence but the oil leak on the floor..so they would go by that..the oil shows behind the white line..so he said Becuz of the old stain on the floor..he said I was to close to him..that's was his verdict..which to me is bias and bull !!

I'm even more confused by this explanation? Was there another vehicle in this accident or did you run over a pedestrian?!?!

It’s looking to me like the driver was turning right, swung wide, and a car tried to sneak by.

And then due to “somebody had to be blamed” the officer cited him because there was an oil stain on the floor of his trailer, which makes no sense to me at all, but police officers have done stupider things....

I'm not finding sense in any of it as this is coming from someone who is going out of their way to confuse the basic facts.. I'm out.. let the truck stop lawyers have this one

I dont think you are in any trouble at all. You have insurance for this, its an accident, so what, move on be more careful moving forward. This is so minor I wouldn't think twice about it. Your safety dept. may give you a call and you may have to watch a video for safety purposes.

As far as the police officer saying " someone had to be blamed" not sure if he was joking around, but the insurance company will battle this out if necessary. Consider this a learning experience... move on...
