As much as the government says schools are not causing spread, is it a coincidence that the numbers started spiking once school resumed?
The whole opening of schools was flawed. Heard from friend with kids that there was a positive case in his kid's school. The kid that tested positive had to isolate. However the kid's sibiling in a different grade at the same school did not. WTF I mean you can't tell me the other sibling won't catch it at home and bring it back to the school. If its as serious as its hyped up to be, both kids should be put in isolation.PoleCrusher, Wasted Thyme, jamespmack and 6 others Thank this. -
#### straight. Most that are positive have no symptoms especially with young kids. Kids showing symptoms are not supposed to go to school, but the parents keep putting them on. There is a sped kid that I give a ride home to. She rides another bus in the am. She was sick and got removed from the morning bus. Mom took her home, dosed her with cold meds and took her to school because mom needs to work. I had to give her a ride home.
Up until last week I knew of nobody that had the vid. Now I know a dozen.
Still have to keep it all in perspective tho, 0.33% of Alberta's population has the vid. Pretty small..PoleCrusher, jamespmack, cke and 5 others Thank this. -
But look how well it worked for Soviet Russia!PoleCrusher, jamespmack, Wasted Thyme and 2 others Thank this.

Cases aren't spiking, they are literally labeling everything corona.

And therein lies the problem: parents depend on school so they can earn a living. I'm willing to bet every adult that went to work symptomatic or after testing positive did so because it was either chance it or starve/lose the house.
That is also why I do not agree with masks. Everyone is now conditioned to believe they're magic and will stop the spread, so if they have symptoms they can just wear mask and continue on with life since they've "protected" everyone else.
I think masks are a good tool in the fight but they need to be utilized properly and appropriately. Wearing one 8 hours a day at work, touching it/adjusting it constantly is not effective.
I find it very odd that Alberta has yet to report ONE case of influenza this year. The trend is not limited to just Alberta. Many other jurisdictions are reporting a 97 to 99% drop in influenza cases this season. Maybe its the masks and distancing but I find that really odd.PoleCrusher, cke, dwells40 and 4 others Thank this. -
All this fuss about having a difficult time getting into a stupid store; just do what I do and buy everything you want online, bobtail over to the pick up area and have them do all the heavy lifting hauling your groceries from the building and into the truck

If someone attempted to rob me the past several months all they would’ve gotten is a $1 bill, but I gave that away as a tip a few weeks back LMAO this is like the whole “picatinny rail” thing, huh? Personally idc either way, but it’s not even in comparison how much easier it is for me to manage my funds with cards instead of getting my checks sent home doing OTRPoleCrusher, jamespmack, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this.
