Check your air pressure as well. Ive seen tire monkeys only fill them to 95lbs. Take them up to 110 and it'll counteract that new tire feeling.

 

Check them every day for air pressure keep them at 110, did u get an alignment?? If not u need one they say within 100 miles

 

Under no circumstance let a truck stop do an alignment. Just a FYI

 

I fitted these a couple of months ago and have the same sort of feelings about them. They certainly don't feel as sure footed as my usual michelins and I regret letting my tire guy talk me into them, last time ill listen to him!
Vague and uncertain is how they feel to me, and prone to following any deviation or imperfections in the road surface.
I think they probably grip perfectly well but they don't inspire much confidence at all.
I've found that raising the pressure to 115 is an improvement, and there's no wear or marks over the first 30,000 miles but I'm sure I'll be changing these out long before they're worn out.

 

My goodyear lhs says 123psi on the side wall.
