so after hooking up to a computer(not bendix software) changing the axle load sensor because of a code showing for it and replacing a connector at the harness on radar AND replacing a leaking wheel seal that caused buildup on the ABS sensor I am still having issues with the TC light with the Front Radar triangle light coming on as a result. It did usually go on and off periodically but now it stays on 90% of the time. I’m starting to think there is a draw somewhere because my batteries are having issues starting the truck in the morning now after about 3 weeks of this issue. I have to idle the truck every 6 hours or so and unplug all accessories along with no bunk heater or my batteries will be dead after 4-8 hours. Is it possible for an electrical issue like this to be a parasitic load? I should have taken to international dealer from the start lol was trying to avoid all of their bs charges

There could be a parasitic load. ABS is usually pretty good at that, I would suspect something else. Batteries don't last like they use to. If your batteries are a couple years old, I would get them tested, as they are probably on their way out now.

ok I’ll get them tested again before anything as that seems to be where my problem with the lights all started with a slow start one cold morning. She hardly cranked over and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree beeping and all. I had them tested about 2 weeks ago and apparently they were all good but the tech used one of the cheap deals.

    Hey HEAVYD

We just recently purchased a 2012 prostar with the maxxforce engine, the tc light and triangle came on and its saying abs module on the dash, replaced the module and reprogrammed it, still doing the same thing, does good shifting through the low gears but falls on its face in the high gears, especially 9 and 10th gear, a 10 speed, wondering what the problem may be?

yea if you don’t have the top spec 13L with 475hp/1700tq it will fall on its face with a significant load. My truck is 430/1550, I need more power..

I have a 2013 ProStar. I have the Bendix ABS system. It threw a code for axle 2 right sensor. How does the sensor come out? I just pull it out from the back? Or do the wheels have to come off? Thanks..

Wheels, drum and sometimes brake shoes have to come off to access it.

Thanks HeavyD. And I also wanted to ask you, do you think NaviStar could bump my truck up in power? I looked up my transmission and it’s rated to 1650tq. Truck makes 1550tq currently. Can they bump me up to 1700tq?
