Lol my point was the difference in price reflects the type of vest, I see you can buy a plate carrier for that price, but you gotta buy the steel plates; the ones you can wear under your shirt for example are made of strong synthetic fibers rated to stop handguns and some rifle rounds dependent on the brand you buy

To be honest I know nothing about body armor, nor did I even give their web page a look.. Not a one size fits all type of product, with many variances in stopping power..

Still seems like if your life may depends on the product, full investigation into the best one can afford, or find is warranted. Not just a dang creepy random text at supper time saying, hey need a discount vest!? I hate the feeling of being stalked online..

 

I’d write that up as an officer involved shooting to save face
