Looking for info on Knight

everyone I have spoken to have said good things about them,but I thought they wanted some recent experience

 

I think Knight may want you to get 4 months of recent OTR before they'll look at you.

 

The local community college here offers a refresher course for folks like yourself. Take a look in your area.

 

Knight does require 4mths experience. I worked for them of 06 for only a month. I had to minor incidents and got canned. I was out of the Indianapolis Terminal. My dispatcher was great. I had an old truck getting ready to be traded in I was told in 3 weeks I would get a new one. 3 weeks they had an 07 waiting for me. They did keep their word. When It came time to let me go, I picked up my loaded trailer took it back to the yard to get my permit like I was lied too. After asking if I was being let go and was told no(I understand why they couldn't tell me yes) anyway, My dispatcher took off the opposite direction like a chicken. Must have been scared I was going to hit him or he has had bad situations with terminated drivers. I have not been able to find a job since sept 06 because of Knight. So becareful and make no mistakes they report everything. Good Luck.

 

be carefull of knight yes they may be ok to some people but not to us there is hardly any mts they will give you load after load and change it constantly really be carefull of payroll they will cheat you all the time they still owe us over $500 since Oct of last year. I do hear that reefer unit has no complaints so far my husband has thought about going there although we would still have to deal with payroll the people in that place dont like my husband very well because he voices his opinion about his pay. But Im not telling what to do just voiceing my opinion that we have experinced you do what you prefer.
